Cute Costume

Confession: Halloween isn't really my thing. I know as a child I enjoyed dressing up and getting candy, but the adult in me doesn't like coming up with costume ideas and then making them happen. I usually search ebay for the costume I'm looking for and buy it for the cheapest price. Now that Lillian is old enough to choose her own alter-identity, I have to search a little bit harder. For Lucas, I just wanted something cute. I found this on ebay about a month ago. When it came in, I didn't try it on him; I just hung it in the closet. I put it on him about 10 minutes before we left to trick-or-treat. It was much cuter than I imagined on the 2-D ebay pictures! He didn't really care for the head part but it was nice and warm when the evening temps cooled.

My costume this year? An orange shirt that says This is my costume. See? I told you Halloween isn't my thing.
