Snow (Ice) Day

We are at home again today with the sun glistening on the icy wonderland around us. I wish I could say we have spent our time making crafts, playing, and having fun. Lillian has a little bug that has her tired and running fever. It hit quickly (as these things do) and I had hoped she would be better today but now she is complaining of ear pain. I'm taking her to the doctor today to check her ears. That could be the explanation for the fever.

Happy 31st!

We celebrated with Brent's parents on Saturday evening with birthday cheesecake and dinner at Stables, a great little burger joint in Guthrie. We have plans to go to another favorite of his called The Boneyard Grill but the icy weather may prevent the trip.

The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Last September, Lillian received a gift card to Build A Bear from Uncle Faron, Aunt Chrisie, and Cole. We were so busy last fall that we never had time to use it. Finally, I made time last Saturday to have a girls morning at the mall to "build a bear." Lillian had so much fun and claimed it was the best morning ever! I know opening a gift card isn't much fun but getting to do the activity attached to it sure was!

Blog Blah

My blog design is blah. I am waiting on my new design from Simply Yours. I have been trying to figure out exactly what I want and put it in words. She is being very patient and I hope to have the new design this week. In the meantime, the blog is blah. How's that for alliteration? BTW, try to say that 10 times fast!

Ski Trip

Yeah, it's been awhile! I'm finally getting pictures up to document our ski trip. We were in Red River, NM, from Dec. 30-Jan3. It was a great trip and lots of fun. I didn't take as many pictures because... well..., I was busy skiing, sledding, and playing in the snow!
